WE ARE THE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL AUTHORITY

Should we go ahead and rename 1A the "East Webster Class"? The Wolverines were upset last year, but return just about everyone... or will someone else surprise the Wolverines again?

What about the Weir Lions? They had an awesome season last year. They only lost about 5 people on the defense. But they are returning #44, 33, 23, 56,59, and 13. The quarterback is just a junior and has been starting since his freshman year. So they better watch out cause the Lions are hungry for some revenge after losing to Pisgah in the last playoff game of the season. Most the seniors we lost, went on to play football and 1 went on to play baseball. We do produce alot of football players that go on to play in the pros such as follows: Alvin McKinley, who is presently playing with the denver Broncos, Dennis McKinley, who played for the Arizona Cardinals, Tony Kimbrough, who played for Denver, Kennis Johnson, who played for Green Bay, and Dennis Johnson, who played for New York Giants. We also produced an outstanding baseball player in Roy Oswalt. All of them played football, including Roy, at the one of the smallest schools in Mississippi called Weir High. The fans are just ready to cheer on our Lions. GO WEIR HIGH!!!!!!! ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!

I like Weir... I thought it would we would see Weir/EWHS in the final, but both were upset... I would not be shocked to see those two teams 1-2 in 1A... Weir has a heck of a football team and may be EWHS' only contender in the class...

I will say this...

Jonathan Banks = not human

I would love to see if anyone can score 10 against EWHS this season... seriously... their defense may be just as good if not better than their offense...

I have to give it up for EW. They are good, but Weir is and always will be great. That is why they have 6 state championships. I know a lot of people from east Webster, but we got some power running backs, too. We only have 32 players, but all of them have heart. They all play their hearts out. You say Johnathan Banks = not human, but what about Cramer Miller = amazing and supernatural. If you think that you have him down, you might see him still running to the endzone carrying about two or three defenders with him.

I watched Weir tonight at their jamboree. They looked like a good team. I am sure that they didn't show their A game tonight. They look to be disciplined and talented. The facilities at Weir are nice. Weir has a lot going for it. Good luck

We have South Leake Friday night. I watched them last night also. They might not be very big, but they have heart. They are going to be a really tough team to beat. Weir is in the tradition for going to the playoffs. I believe that they are going to make it this year.

I will say this about Weir... I saw them play twice last year... I've never seen such a small team play so big... they're fast and they play with a TREMENDOUS amount of heart... that can carry you a long way...
